Excellence in Education Awards
The Excellence in Education Award honors some of the outstanding educators and employees who are exemplary role models and heroes for our students. These individuals are representative of the fine quality staff in the Madison School District.
Educators and staff are nominated monthly by each school principal so that each school has an award recipient through the course of the school year. The Madison Education Foundation then honors that individual at a school faculty meeting, school assembly or in the classroom. They each receive a check and gift certificates from local businesses that have joined with us in recognizing those committed to Excellence in Education.
These individuals will then become candidates for the Madison Education Foundation and chamber of Commerce “Excellence in Education Award” educator of the year. The nominee will be honored at the Chamber banquet held in March each year.
The Excellence in Education Program began in 2005.
