The support of a community is a pillar of strength that can make or break a given effort. As such, the Madison Education Foundation is turning to the community as a whole.

In previous years, we have focused on small segments of the community. Our audience always has been targeted with events like our annual golf tournament, or the "Jeans Day" for school teachers, and we have been grateful for their support in the past. Now, we would like to encourage more support from a greater cross-section of the community-at-large.

Many Hands Make Light Work
We have identified four components of the Madison School District community:

  1. District Residents - Those who live inside the boundaries of the Madison School District whether or not they may also be alumni of the Madison School district.
  2. District Alumni - Anyone who has attended school in the Madison School District with a special emphasis on those who have moved out of the area.
  3. Local Businesses - Businesses operating inside the Madison School District.
  4. Alumni Businesses - Alumni-Owned Businesses whether in or out of the Madison School District.
Any given project may cost a lot of money in one lump sum, BUT when more people get involved, the cost can decrease dramatically. Even small donations can help make a large task small.
