At the beginning of every school year, many of the teachers in the Madison School District plan projects or outings that will enhance the education of their students. Many of these teachers put their own funds into the projects, sacrificing their own income for the students they teach. This is where the Madison Education Foundation and teachers can team-up together and bring many of these projects to life.
Parents and other educationally minded community members can support not just the teachers of their own children, but other classrooms as well. When you donate through the Madison Education Foundation, these donations can be earmarked to a specific classroom. These donations have the tax advantages of being a donation to a non-profit education supporting foundation which turns any donation to that foundation into a partial tax-credit with the State of Idaho.
