The Madison Education Foundation is seeking nominations for the annual Excellence in Education Award.

NOMINATION PERIOD: January 13th through January 31th, 2025

As part of its mission, the Madison Education Foundation awards the Excellence in Education Award annually. The purpose of this award is to recognize teachers and district employees in all levels and areas who demonstrate outstanding innovation, dedication, and professionalism that positively impacts the academic lives of the students.

Award candidates are nominated by both peers and administrators in the District and by parents of students in the District. Nominated candidates are then reviewed by the Madison Education Foundation Board and the selected winners will be announced on Social Media in February and awarded in the classrooms of the winners..

Awardees receive a $500 honorarium and a $500 contribution to their school classroom account to be used for travel, classroom supplies, or equipment.

You can vote up to three times. Please include as much detail as possible to assist in the process of selecting those to be awarded. Thank you for your support of education.
