The Madison Education Foundation is seeking nominations for the annual Excellence in Education Award.

NOMINATION PERIOD: December 3rd through January 31th, 2024

As part of its mission, the Madison Education Foundation awards the Excellence in Education Award annually. The purpose of this award is to recognize teachers and district employees in all levels and areas who demonstrate outstanding innovation, dedication, and professionalism that positively impacts the academic lives of the students.

Award candidates are nominated by both peers and administrators in the District and by parents of students in the District. Nominated candidates are then reviewed by the Madison Education Foundation Board and the selected Awardee are announced at the February District In-service meeting.

Awardees receive a $500 honorarium and a $500 contribution to their school classroom account to be used for travel, classroom supplies, or equipment.

This form is used to make nominations. Please fill out the form below to nominate your chosen teacher or district employee you feel fits the qualities above. Nominating is open to everyone. Please include as much detail as possible to assist in the process of selecting those to be awarded. Thank you for your support of education.
